This group was started for more of the laid back type of hikers that are looking to do an average of 2 to 5 miles a hike and just enjoy getting out and exercising, maybe hitting a brewery afterwards to enjoy a cold one (nothing tastes better than a cold beer after a good sweat!) or just enjoy the company of your fellow hikers. The exercise is good to keep the beer gut away and Vermont is such a beautiful place to explore, so please join us!
This group is not only dedicated to hiking / snowshoeing but also kayaking / biking or all kinds of outdoor sports, outdoor activities and meeting other local adventure enthusiasts. Welcome to Burlington tennis meetup, the place to meet new tennis partners. We'll schedule a summer pic-nic or two, but don't expect that there will be many general meet-ups scheduled. Instead, contact other members direclty to arrange games. When we have enough people interested in a ladder, I'll get that organized. I'm asking folks to contribute $5/yr to be a member of the group. I hope that this will dissuade those folks who sign up for half-dozen groups only never to return, and motivate …
This group was created with the non-league bowler, the first time bowler, and the I-haven't-played-in-years bowler in mind. It provides an opportunity for people to get together and have a good time through a sport we all enjoy. Come solo or bring a buddy -- either way you'll meet some fun people and improve your game by a few pins (or more). Go ahead, RSVP. See you at the alley! --------------- So why "Buzzard"? A "buzzard" is bowling speak for three open frames in a row. The name emphasizes …
… If you have never gone before, you can rent equipment, be taught how to belay, and see how you like it for a day fee or beginner package. If you get hooked, you can check out the different membership options at Petra Cliffs. What I prefer about climbing as an alternative to a health club workout is that it requires you to engage your mind and emotions as well. As someone said today, "its great therapy!" So come give it a try!

This group is about skiing and riding to meet new people. As many people now have passes or enjoy regularly heading to the mountain, I thought it would be a great time to have people meet up. Skiing and riding in packs is always more fun! It would also be excellent to get together post runs for beers and food. Anyone who likes to ride or ski at Sugarbush and enjoys meeting new people should join us in the group!
Moving towards raw foods is exciting and exhilirating! It is also a big change that can be challenging and at times isolating. As a Certified Raw Food Chef I have learned techniques and skills to help others successfully transition to a healthier lifestyle. In my journey to the raw food lifestyle I found it helpful to find great teachers and friends who were able to support me on this path. I want to create a community in New Hampshire and Greater New England of conscious eaters by offering r …

Come play dodgeball with other young professionals and have a blast! Coed, low competitiveness but lots of fun. Balls are a soft foam that you can throw accurately but won't hurt when hit. This group has been successfully meeting up for over 3 years now. Most people haven't played in years so all experience levels are welcome as we are not a competitive league, but love to meet new people and have a great time! www.vermontdodgeball.com -Dan
